How does one take a good photograph? In this seminar, we will attempt to find answers to these questions as we examine photography as medium for personal expression and as a representation of our world. We’ll examine briefly the generally history of photography, understand the different genres, and learn some of the technicalities of the camera so that we have the vocabulary to properly discuss and critique photographs, as well as putting this knowledge to use to improve your own skill with the camera.
